Before you ask.
Do I need new gates or cameras?
Not always. MiStorage links to a gate controller that can send its events and take PIN changes over the internet, and to a camera recorder with web playback. We check your makes before setup. Until the gate is linked, MiStorage tells you which PIN to pause or restore on the panel. Hardware is quoted separately if you need it.
Can MiStorage sell a tenant's goods for unpaid rent?
No. South Africa has no self-storage lien law. MiStorage handles the reminders, gate pause and letter of demand. The sale step stays locked until your attorney gives the go-ahead.
How do tenants get their gate code?
By email the moment they have signed and paid, sent by itself or after your OK, as you choose. WhatsApp follows once your business number is connected.
Can I bring my current tenants over?
Yes. Send us your tenant list in Excel or from your old system and we load it during setup.
Is there a contract?
Month to month after setup. Your website and domain stay yours.
